Biography
Henry Wilcock
Castle Dale-Henry Carol Wilcock, age 86, passed away in Price, Utah on May 16, 2012. He was born on September 27, 1925 in Hinckley, Utah to Henry and Ruth Jane Timson Wilcock. He married Rowena Dee Weston on September 13, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away in 1983 later he married Patricia Hunsaker Daines on July 1, 1988 in Carlin, Nevada.
Henry was raised in the log cabin his father built during the Depression. He attended High School in Marysville, UT. Henry served our country during WWII as a diesel engineer mechanic in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Henry's Late Hour Tire Service for almost 20 years. Henry was an active member of the LDS Church where he served in many capacities; his favorite was working with the Boy Scouts. His hobbies included fishing, boating, yard work, and being in the outdoors. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughter, Marilyn (Ken) Thomas of Salt Lake, daughter-in-law, Janet Wilcock of Taylorsville, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Marie Nay of Monroe, Utah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rowena, two infant children, and two sons: Clint Wilcock, Russell Wilcock, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Castle Dale LDS Stake Center, 35 East Main. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be Monday, at 2:30 p.m. in the Redwood Memorial Cemetery (6500 So.
