Biography
Glen Kiser
East Carbon- Glen L. Kiser, 72, died May 30, 2009 in East Carbon, at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 9, 1936 in Miles City, MT. to Curtis Mearl and Vera Ione (Carter) Kiser. He married Betty Lloyd. They were married on May 24, 1958 in Miles City, MT.
He was raised in Miles City and Coalwood, MT. He lived in Billings MT., Powell WY., Laramie WY., Newell S.D., and most recently resided in East Caron, UT. Glen was a farmer and a rancher of both sheep and cattle. He enjoyed riding horses, he loved all types of animals especially his two dogs, Mitzi and Peanuts. Glen liked working outside in his yard and garden, also enjoyed camping with his friends and family. One of his passions was playing cards and enjoyed county music and dancing. His creed that he lived by was honesty and his word was his bond. Glen enjoyed traveling with his wife and especially enjoyed their trips to Branson, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico to list a few. Most important to him were his wife, three children and grandchildren whom he loved.
Glen is survived by his wife: Betty; three children; Janet Lei (Dave) Virnig, Little Falls, MN., Jerri Lynn (Randy) Timothy, Price, UT., Johnny Dee (Debra) Kiser, Iowa, LA.; five grandchildren and two step grandkids.; two sister-in-laws; Vera Archer, Olive, MT., Elsie Hudson, Billings, MT. and one uncle Frank Kiser of MT.
He is preceded in death by three brothers; Robert Archer, Jerry Hudson, Mearl (Jessie) Kiser; and his parents.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 4th 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fausett Mortuary 680 East 100 South, Price, UT. Burial will be held at the Custer County Cemetery Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Miles City, Montana. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
