Gilbert George Adams
Green River: Gilbert George Adams age 63, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Whitesboro, Texas. Gilbert was born July 19, 1947 in Aspen, Colorado to Eldon Lee Adams and Allene Seely Spadafora. He grew up in Green River where he attended school and spent his younger years.
Gilbert enjoyed working with his hands, be it painting, braiding, woodwork, or working with leather. He loved being in the outdoors, especially fishing, riding horses and doing the river rafting trips with his family. He enjoyed traveling and exploring the United States, in his travels he met many people, and his friendly personality won them over. Gilbert also enjoyed the motorcycle trips on the bikes he had worked on. He was a man of many talents and a jack of all trades. He could fix anything.
Gilbert is survived by his daughter: Zaneel (Jeremy) Anderson of Eagle Mountain, UT, mother: Allene Spadafora of Green River, UT, four grandchildren: Dallice and Taylor Johnson and Dawson and Gavin Anderson, sisters: Lawain (Kay Theuy) LewHing of Salt Lake City, UT, and Doni (Melvin) Stewart of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his father and daughter: Skya Johnson.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Green River LDS Church (101 North Clark ). Interment will be in the Elgin Cemetery in Green River. Friends and family may sign the guest book and share memories of Gil at www.fausettmortuary.com.
