Gaylene Dowley Hreinson 73 died peacefully at home October 15 2020 in Helper. UT. She was born January 20 1947 in Payson, UT to William Delaine Dowley and Mildred Mayola Robbins. She married John "Sack" Hreinson in Provo, UT on February 21,1997. Gaylene Dowley Hreinson was born January 20, 1947 in Payson, UT. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1965 where she was active in volleyball, baseball and track. She was a tomboy at heart. She went to Hollywood Beauty School and all of her friends and family were lucky because their hair was always stylish. She was a member of the LDS church. She worked at Utah Power & Light from 1978 to 2008. She loved her job and all the people she worked with. She loved spending time with her family and going on adventures. She looked forward to her sister's retreat each year. If you drove with Gaylene you knew to hold on and wear your seatbelt. She made everyone smile and laugh. She made every person she met feel like family. She is survived by her Husband John "Sack" Hreinson; Children Raina Maiers of Green River, WY, Ryan(MIchelle) Laws of Green River, WY and Kyle(Cindi) Reddington of Helper, Ut. Stepsons Mike(Brandy) Hreinson Spring Glen, Ut, Dave(Katie) Herinson of Price, Ut and Tadd Millard of Sandy, Ut. Sisters Robyn Spring of Spring Creek, NV, Trena Baker of Provo, Ut, Malaine(Bill) Wareham of La Sal, Ut and Sister in Law Verla Dowley Lake Shore, Ut and brother in law Steele Atwood, Nephi, Ut. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Annalee Distefano, Ronda Barela, Marilyn Atwood and Veldon Dowley. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Helper LDS church (150 Ridgeway St, Helper, UT). A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Fausett Mortuary (680 E 100 S, Price, UT). Interment will be in the Helper City Cemetery.
