Fred Gregersen

Castle Dale CLAWSON--Fred Marcus Gregersen, age 64, passed away April 13, 2010 in Provo, Utah. Fred was born March 13, 1946 in Price to Ever and Blye Stilson Gregersen. Fred grew up in Castle Dale and Salt Lake City. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. While stationed in Vietnam, he met and later married Xuan Thi Ngyuen. His hobbies included gardening and reading books. Fred is survived by his wife, Xuan; his mother, Blye; five children: Yume (Laurie) Gregersen, Tam (Christine) Gregersen, Myly (Scott) Chynoweth, My-Linh (Tim) Gregersen-Buggy, and Jordan (Taybree) Gregersen; four siblings and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 16, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bluehills LDS Ward Church (35 West 200 North, Ferron). There will be a viewing from 12:30 - 1:30 prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Castle Dale Cemetery with military honors. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
