Dorthey Tallerico Tharp Our dear loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend passed away following an extensive illness on April 8 2014 in Kaysville, Utah. Dorthey Tallerico Tharp was born on June 6, 1932 in Castle Gate, Utah to Nick and Theadocia (Docia)Tallerico. She married L. Wood (Ted) Miller of Castle Dale, Utah in 1952, and later married Jay Dee Tharp of East Carbon, Utah in September 1968. She is survived by her husband Jay Dee Tharp; children- Jerry (Barbara) Miller, Thea (Bruce) Nicodemus, Tresa (Larry) Christensen, Sherry (Tim) Priddy, sister- MaryLou (Johnny) Kranker She has 25 grandchildren and 16 great grand children. She loved to read, collect pretty rocks and shells, to travel with her loving husband, and visit beautiful places. She was self educated and taught her children to love God, nature, geology, to get an education, and to love the beautiful things of the world. She lived in Castle Gate, Sunnyside, Castle Dale, and Kaysville, Utah; as well as in Lompoc, California; Tallahassee, Florida; Safford, Arizona; and Denver, Colorado. She had a good, happy and healthy life; and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She truly loved and was loved by all of her family. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fausett Mortuary Chapel (680 East 100 South - Price, Utah). A viewing will be held from 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Price city cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
