Donna Lee Luke Salt Lake City/Orangeville: Donna L. Luke age 90, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011. Donna was born October 5, 1920 in Orangeville, UT one of five children born to George Lee and Francis Woodward Taylor. She married her High School Sweetheart, Lincoln LeRoy Luke on June 1, 1941. They were married for 59 wonderful years before Lincoln's passing in 2000. Donna grew up and attended school in Orangeville, Emery County. Following her marriage they moved to Price, where she worked at the Dress Shop as a saleswoman for many years. Donna was very supportive of her husband, who was very talented musically, attending his many performances and dances that he played for. In 1959 they moved to Salt Lake City, then in 1964 they moved to California where they lived until 1995. They moved back to Salt Lake to be closer to family, in 1995. Donna loved serving others and was always putting others needs before hers. She was a great cook and always had fruit, cheese and pickles for family and friends as they came to visit. Her family was her life and everything she did revolved around them. She loved her grandchildren, who loved her just as much. Donna will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Orangeville LDS Ward Chapel, 45 West 100 South. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 6-7 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, 720 North Center St., and Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church in Orangeville prior to the services. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guestbook and share memories of Donna at www.fausettmortuary.com.
