Donna Snow Huntington
"To Know Her is to Love Her"
ORANGEVILLE - Our sweet mother, grandma, great-grandma, great-great grandma, sister and friend, Donna Snow Huntington, passed away peacefully at her home on February 12, 2012. Donna was born to Samuel Russell and Vera Lucille Hickman Snow on September 8, 1916 in Castle Dale, Utah. She married Grant Orlo Huntington on October 3, 1934 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died November 23, 1986.
Donna was a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived an exemplary life and held many church callings serving in the Relief Society, Primary, and Mutual auxiliaries. She worked in the Emery County Courthouse as Deputy County Recorder for 20 years, in the telephone office for 20 years, and in Huntington Brothers Store in Castle Dale for 5 years.
She is survived by her three children: Monna (Val) Jensen of Huntington, Kitty (Elmer) Larsen of Orangeville, and Donald (Carol) Huntington of Castle Dale; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita (Elwin) Rasmussen; a brother, Sharpe (Seretia) Snow; three sisters-in-law, Evota Snow, Anna Snow and Rose Denison; and brother-in-law, Morris Huntington
Donna was preceded in death by her husband; parents; great-grandson; sisters, Lucille Larsen and Betty Lou Snow; and brothers, John Snow and Sterling Snow.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orangeville LDS Church (45 West 100 South, Orangeville). There will be a viewing Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (720 N. Center St., Castle Dale) and on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Donna at www.fausettmortuary.com.
