Dick Cloyd Tidwell
It is with sad regret that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, step-dad, grandpa, and brother, Dick Tidwell on February 25, 2018 at his home in Ferron, Utah. He was born April 7, 1935 to Colonel Dick Tidwell and Crystal Cathrin Palmer in Green River, Utah. He married Julia Maxine Freeman on October 22, 1983. He will be remembered as a true cowboy, especially with his well-mannered respect for people of all ages. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Emery County.
Survived by his wife; sisters Shana Edwards, Myra Arellano, Sylvia (Mickey) Bradley, Kathy (Ray) Thomas, Leona Santair, Judy Smith, and Penny (Joe) Arriola; children Roberta Pantelakis. Dustin, Cory, and Casey (Trish) Tidwell; stepchildren Misty and Chad Jensen, Rayola (Steven) Pfnister. Shauna (Dave) Heddlesten and Sam Carlisle; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Cactus and Alex; son Chipper; daughters Ruth and Liz; stepson Travis.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Emery County, 35 W. Mill Rd, Ferron, Utah. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church, with a viewing one hour prior. Interment at Ferron Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
