Diane Olsen
HELPER: Our beloved mother, and grandmother Diane Olsen, age 72, passed away with her family by her side on March 21, 2013 in Provo, UT.
Diane was born May 29, 1940 in Rexburg ID, to LeGrande Caldwell and Della Leone Grover Nourse. She married Robert E. Olsen on July 13, 1957 in the Manti Utah LDS Temple, and was an active member in the LDS Church. She held many callings, and tirelessly volunteered her time and talents in the service of others. She loved and accepted everyone, and touched many lives.
Diane dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and felt they were her greatest accomplishment. She supported them in everything they did, and always thought that hers were the smartest and best looking. Diane enjoyed learning new things throughout her life. She attended college courses, took classes in painting, was an accomplished artist, and won many awards for her work.
Diane was actively involved in the family auto repair business, at times even working on cars herself. She also held many jobs in the community, and always liked working with people. Diane was never at a loss for words, and loved to talk to everyone.
Diane is survived by her husband, Robert E. Olsen, of Helper, children: Gary (Christy) Olsen, West Jordan; Richard Olsen, Bountiful; Diana (Adam) Thompson, Castle Dale. 12 Grandchildren, 2 1/2 great grandchildren. Brother David Caldwell, Montpelier, ID; sister Joeleen Nourse, Magna; brother George Nourse, Clinton; sister Vickie Nielson, Elmo.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Helper LDS Stake Center 150 Ridgeway Street, Helper UT, with a short viewing that morning from 10:30-11:30 am prior to services. There will also be a viewing the previous night, Monday March 25 from 6-8 pm at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E 100 S Price, UT. Interment with be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guest book and share memories of Diane at www.fausettmortuary.com.
