Delores Lauritsen Bryner
Price-Our beautiful wife and mother Delores Bryner, age 91, passed away on September 17, 2011 in Price, Utah. She was born on August 27, 1920 in Price, Utah to Jarama Powell and Edward C. Lauritsen. She married Milton Bryce (Ted) Bryner on December 26, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Delores graduated from Carbon High School; she worked as Evening Chief Operator for Mountain States Telephone Co. She married, raised a family, and worked as a secretary at Carbon High School, retiring after 20 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church holding many positions including Relief Society and Primary President, Sunday School Teacher and Secretary, Visiting Teacher and Magazine Representative. She loved to have her grandchildren visit and was happiest when interacting with her family. Delores enjoyed taking care of her rose garden, cooking, reading and going to lunch with the ladies in her "Club".
She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, 4 children: Bryce (Cristie) Bryner, Price; Kathy (Charles) Hoyt, Price; Janet Bryner and (David Wilner), Salt Lake City; Glenn (Peggy) Bryner, Delta, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; brother: Larry (Verna) Lauritsen, Price; sister-in-law: Jean Lauritsen, North Salt Lake.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Donald Lauritsen and Lester Lauritsen and sister, Edna Cavainnie.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Price LDS 5th Ward Chapel (545 East 400 North). There will be a viewing Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Fausett Mortuary in Price from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., and also Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
