David Lynn Wilstead Born Nov 21 1942 to Fred Alma Wilstead and Isabel Irene Phelps in Standardville, UT. Lived in Lawrence UT, joined the US Air Force in 1962, Married Laura Lee Adams of Cleveland, UT, November 1962, later was Sealed in the Manti. UT Temple. Served during the Vietnam conflict being stationed in Korat, Thailand. He graduated from the College of Eastern Utah as an electrical engineer, worked in the area coal mines, was a startup engineer on the Huntington power generation station, and many other power plants around the western states, and for a short time was a math teacher at CEU. He raised a family in Lawrence in the 1970's moving to Salt Lake City, and then Phoenix AZ, and is survived by his loved Wife Laura Lee Adams, and Children David Todd Wilstead, wife Heather. Diane Lee Tafaoialii, Keven John Wilstead, wife Amy. Jason Brett Wilstead wife Kerensa,. Four Grandchildren Samual, Nicholas, Dylan, and Nathan, and was preceded in death by son Brian Keith Wilstead. Family and friends are welcome to attend a viewing on Tuesday September 15 from 5 to 7pm at Fausetts Mortuary 720 N Center Street, Castle Dale, UT. Followed by a second short viewing on Wednesday September 16 from 8 to 8.45 am at the Huntington, UT LDS Church 1st ward, 115 South 400 East. Services will be from 9 to 10am Wednesday in the chapel, followed by burial, and military honors at the Lawrence, UT cemetery at 11:30am. Main street and Cemetery Rd.
