David Monfredi

January 31, 1965 — May 6, 2010

David Jesse Brian Monfredi Price-David Jesse Brian Monfredi, age 45. Our most beautiful Husband, Brother and friend passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2010 due to complications from Muscular Dystrophy. David was born on January 31, 1965 to Arthur Edward and Elizabeth Jean Ingalsbe Brian in Roosevelt, Utah. At 18 months his mother was ill from childbirth and sent David to the home of friends along with his sister, Bonnie to help care for him, they were later joined by his brother Raymond. They were never allowed by the state to go home, so David's foster, (and later adoptive parents) were Lawrence and Mary Saracino Monfredi. Mary passed away in 1977 and David's new stepmother was Annie Johnson Monfredi. David spent several years attending the Castle Valley Center where he enjoyed crafts and sports and making lots of friends. There he met the love of his life, "RuthAnn Reddington"! They only had eyes for each other, and were married on August 14, 1999. They were completely in love and David was so happy with his new love and family. David and RuthAnn both worked to help pay for trips that they loved. David worked at KFC, where he could be seen walking to work every day, even with his health problems. When he became too ill to work, he and RuthAnn were blessed to get to live in a TKJ home where the staff were so wonderful to them. A special thanks to the TKJ family and to the hospitals for all the love and support. David loved to play games with anyone willing to take the challenge, he loved watching WWE every Monday night, and he was a huge BYU and Utah Jazz fan. David is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann of Price, brothers: Robert Edward (Cathy) Brian of Famington, NM and Raymond Deon (Natalia) Brian of Gillette,WY sisters: Juanita Lee Kevelighan of Ft Worth, TX, and Bonnie (Jerry) Vea of Spring Glen, UT, many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Edward and Elizabeth Jean Brian, Lawrence and Mary Saracino Monfredi, Annie Monfredi, a brother Kenneth R. Brian, grandparents, Albert and Rose Thorn Ingalsbe Tanner.and step-mother Annie Johnson Monfredi. David will finally get to meet the rest of his family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price 8th Ward Chapel (995 East 700 North).
