Listen to Service East Carbon - Daniel "Danny" Edwin Dance, 71, passed away March 17, 2015, at his home in East Carbon, UT. Danny was born January 26, 1944 in Price, UT, to William "Bill" Fredrick Dance and Ruth Irene Stevenson Dance. He married Cynthia "Cindy" Leal Dance on December 24, 1964 in Salt Lake City, UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on June 17, 1977. Danny was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a longtime fly fisherman who loved Huntington Canyon. He enjoyed watching sports with his grandson Daniel. He loved being "PaPa" to all of his grandchildren. He was a good husband, a good father, a good grandfather, and a good friend. He is survived by his wife Cindy of East Carbon, UT; daughters Julie (Richard) Hansen of Price, UT; Shauna Colonna of Price, UT; and Valarie (Kelly) Allred of Venice, UT; sister Deanna (Arthur) Dalpiaz of Flagstaff, AZ; and 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the East Carbon Ward building, with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Price Cliffview Cemetery located at 2100 East 800 North in Price, UT. Services are entrusted to Fausett Mortuary in Price.
