Dan Ned Baldwin
Wellington- our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Dan Ned Baldwin, age 84, died November 21, 2009 in Price. He was born on December 20, 1924 in Wellington, Utah to Jesse Clark and Adelia Winget Baldwin. Dan married his sweetheart Enid Lillian Erickson on February 15, 1947, marriage later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on August 4, 1965; Enid passed away September 29, 1988. He married Doris Hawkins on February 10, 1990 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Dan served his country during WWII, being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. He worked as an airline mechanic for over 40 years. Dan was an active member of the LDS church and served many callings, one of his favorites being a Temple sealer. He loved to play golf, fish, camp and be outdoors. Dan especially loved spending time with his family.
Survived by, wife Doris Hawkins Baldwin, children: Danna (Dick) Gayler , Kay Hale, Allan (Patty) Baldwin, Joyce (Mike) Paschall, Clark (Angi) Baldwin, Rory (Juanita) Baldwin, Terry (Rhonda) Baldwin, Vicki (Dennis) Hansen, Brent (Kami) Baldwin, Jeri (Steve) Jacobs, Marjorie (Brent) Barker, Margaret (Brad) Timothy, 54 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren
Preceded in death by wife, Enid, parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister, grandsons; Wade and Kyle Baldwin, granddaughter; Crystal Smith, son-in-law Roger Hale.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellington 1st Ward Chapel (935 E. Main.) Viewing Monday, November 23, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. prior the service at the church. Interment will be Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Rd.) in West Jordan. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Westwood Heights 2nd Ward Chapel (3976 Dimrall Dr., Kearns, Utah) at 11:00 a.m. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
