HUNTINGTON- Cynthia Merle Johnson Madsen was called to be with the Lord on January 31, 2025, at the age of 70 due to surgery complications.

She was born in Kremmling, Colorado on February 12, 1954, to Henry Madison Johnson and Ione Jean Jacobs. She lost her parents at a very young age and was raised by her grandma Ione along with her four younger brothers. She met her sweetheart John Madsen at the local newspaper office in Kremmling. Together they raised four boys.

She worked at Current Creek Lodge for a number of years and made a lot of lifelong friends along the way.

She loved the Lord and was the Pastor’s Wife for over 20 years. She loved serving others in the Fellowship of the Church alongside Pastor John. Cynthia loved her spiritual walk with the Lord.

She was Chairman and very involved with Genesis Pregnancy Center. She was passionate about helping and educating women with choices during and after pregnancy.

She had a love for horses, barrel racing, Elvis Presley’s music, crafts, painting, crocheting, fishing and camping, and working side by side with John in the leather shop.

Cindy loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She remained close to them up to her passing.
