Connie Rae Lee Pierce
PRICE/WELLINGTON- Connie Rae Lee Pierce, age 64, passed away February 17, 2012 at Castleview Hospital after living a wonderful life and from causes incident to her valiant battle with Parkinson's Disease. Connie was born November 26, 1947 in Price, Utah to Clark and Marjorie Lee. She married Ben Pierce on May 10, 1969 in Bountiful, Utah. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 10, 1971. She spent the rest of her life known as Ben's "little dove."
Connie moved with her family to Bountiful when she was 12 years old, where she loved going to the library and swimming pool. She was a part of the first graduating class from Viewmont High School in 1966. Connie attended Stevens Henager College, where after graduation worked for the McConkie Brothers in downtown Salt Lake City. She and Ben moved to Wellington, Utah when their children were small. She worked at Castleview Hospital and as an Office Manager for Dr. Elwin Atwood, DDS. Everyone would say that her smiling face helped make going to the dentist a little easier. She loved doing yard work, swimming, bike riding, playing the piano, going for walks, coloring with the grandkids, decorating for the holidays, reading, and was especially known as quite a card shark.
Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many church callings including: Relief Society President, and for many years as the Primary Pianist, which she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Ben; children: Kellie (Ronn) Gilson of Springville, UT, David (Brandee) Pierce of Helper, UT, Bryan (Melissa) Pierce of Price, UT, Jared (Stephanie) Pierce of Clovis, NM, and Josh (Shannon) Pierce of Schweinfurt, Germany; her sister, Bonnie Dalton of West Jordan, UT; brothers: Ron (Jamie) Lee of Huntington, UT, and Phil (Margo) Lee of Dublin, OH. She is also survived by her "JOYS": Kailee, Corben, Raegan, Ashley, Alexis, Alivea, Joel, Mason, Abby, Carter, Dairyk, Jillian, Kiefer, Brylan, Addison, Garrett, Dylan and Gianna.
Preceded in death by her father, Clark R. Lee; mother, Marjorie Phillips Lee; and sister, Barbara Jean Lee Giron.
Thanks to everyone who took such good care of our Mom, including Dr. Max Morgan, Dr. Megan Zorn of the University of Utah Neurological Clinic, the staff at Lin Care, the staff of the Castleview Hospital, and the Carbon County Ambulance and Deputy Sheriff's.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westwood LDS Church (175 North 1280 West - Price, Utah.) Viewing will be on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South - Price, Utah) and on Saturday, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Wellington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Connie at www.fausettmortuary.com.
