Larry Cloward
Castle Dale: Bard Larry Cloward, age 66 passed away expectantly on Monday, September 1, 2014 in Provo, UT. Larry was born July 4, 1948 in Payson, UT to Bard Emerald and Ruth Anderson Cloward. Larry married Yvonne Burch on September 3, 1969 in Evanston, Wyoming; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Yvonne passed away November 25, 2013.
Larry grew up and attended schools in Payson, graduation from Payson High School. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Larry was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was actively involved in the scouting program for many years and enjoyed his service in the Elders Quorum. Larry was a family man and enjoyed being in the outdoors with them, fishing, camping and hiking. He also was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying whenever he had the opportunity. He worked as a mechanic for over 25 years. He will be remember as a loving father and grandfather who loved to spoil the grandkids.
Larry is survived by his sons: Michael Brandon Cloward, Matthew Scott (Kristine Rowley) Cloward, and Larry Chad Cloward, siblings: Joel and Darlene, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Yvonne and sons: Bard Eldon Cloward, Brian Franklin Cloward.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Castle Dale City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guest book and share memories of Larry at www.fausettmortuary.com.
