Cindy Sherman

July 10, 1958 — October 11, 2021

Cindy Lou Andrea Sherman (Craghead) 7/10/1958 - 10/11/2021 On a hot summer day, on July 10, 1958, when everything in the world was right, Cindy Lou Andrea Craghead Sherman was brought into this world. From the moment she took her first breath, she was a firecracker, always keeping her parents and siblings on their toes. From throwing her sister in the pig pens, to helping her dad chop the heads off their chickens. Cindy had a fun-loving, wild spirit, and at the age of 16, she found her one true love, her best friend, and the man of her dreams, Carl Glain Sherman. They were married on August 8th, 1974 in Ogden, Utah. Oh, how they loved and adored one another. Carl and Cindy were inseparable for 47 years. Through all of life's adventures and challenges, they always prevailed. Cindy was a hard worker. She had various jobs. She was a candy striper, baker, waitress, cashier, tour guide greeter, security guard, janitor, and mother. Shortly after getting married, they were blessed with three beautiful children: Joseph Levan, Carl Glain Jr., and Misty Ann. She loved all of her children unconditionally, and always had their best interest at heart. She would have done anything for them but would not hesitate to put them back in line. She was later blessed with two daughters-in-law, Kate Sherman and Brande Sherman, and a son-in-law, Dustin Taylor. She loved them all dearly. Cindy has 21 grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was always there to support them, whether it was sporting events, pageants, chorus concerts, weddings, or just them wanting grandma. They truly were the passion in her life. She spent countless hours with them and loving them. She is the BEST GRANDMA EVER! She had so many friends that she adored and loved, and they loved her in return. Cindy is a beautiful, caring soul. She would help anyone, no matter what was asked of her. She had a contagious smile, that would brighten the darkest room, and her laugh.....everyone knew her by that laugh. Cindy loved to crochet. She could make a blanket come to life right in front of your eyes. She loved riding her Harley with her husband, camping, boating, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of her family. She played softball and ran track. She loved football, Joe Montana, and the 49ers. She loved warm summer mornings, sunsets, the ocean, and the moon. Cindy loved people, life, and music. You could never slow her down. She was the most amazing woman. She will always live on in our hearts, and the legacy that she left behind. We will always love you and miss you. Our lives will never be the same without her. Thank you, mom, for everything. Thank you for this beautiful life, and all of the amazing memories and lessons you have given us. Cindy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Carl G. Sherman Sr., of Huntington, UT. Son, Joey Sherman (Kate), of Lehi, UT. Son, Carl Sherman Jr. (Brande) of Helper, UT. Daughter, Misty Taylor (Dustin), of Wellington, UT.
