Charles Lofley
Elmo-Charles Lofley, 79, died April 11, 2009, in his home in Elmo. He was born February 25, 1930, to Martha Mabel Atwood and John Charles Lofley. He married the love of his life, Anne Beryl Tidwell in Elmo, Utah on September 26, 1949.
Charles loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles was a member of the UMWA Local 6363, Hiawatha, where he worked for 40 years.
Charles is survived by his wife; Beryl, children; Charla (Wayne) Every, Elmo, Joleen Athos, Spokane, Washington, Raymond (Debbie) Lofley, Price, Cindy (Jimmie) Schwegerl, Lincoln City, Oregon, Robbie (Rene') Lofley, Elmo, Clay (Tara) Lofley, Helper, Casey (Lisa) Lofley, Elmo, Rusty (Andrea) Lofley, Hotchkiss, Colorado, sister; Georgena (Arvel) Hansen, Elmo, 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Della Rasmussen, Cora Oliver, five brothers; Rueben Tucker, Willard Tucker, Vearl Tucker, Max Tucker, John Charles Lofley Jr., and son-in-law; Frank Athos.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Elmo City Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South, Price, Utah). Interment will be in the Elmo City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
