Carrol Peirce Beacco
Our loving mother Carrol Wright Peirce Beacco passed away May 10, 2024, at the age of 91, with her children by her side.
Mother was born March 28, 1933 to Clara Lucille Stevens and Ervin Edwin Wright in Hiawatha, Utah. She moved to Price with her family when she was nine months old and spent the rest of her life in Price.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings in her younger years working with the youth and in the Primary organization.
She married William Max Peirce July 10, 1953. They started their family on the Peirce farm in Miller Creek. On the farm, mother learned the value of hard work and developed a talent for cooking and canning. William was killed unexpectedly in a highway accident, September 18, 1964, leaving mother to raise eight children under the age of 10 by herself. Through this and other challenges mother became a very strong independent woman. She began her career at Koret of California as the Cutting Department Supervisor to support her young family. She met and married John Beacco August 16, 1976. They spent 28 years together before his passing, in which time, she enjoyed retirement from Koret of California, Saturday date nights and traveling with John. John preceded her in death December 10, 2004. She then began working at the Athletic Center (BDAC) for CEU.
The icing on the cake, for mother, was her beloved grandchildren. She thought the world of them. They were her pride and joy and kept her busy with all of their activities and visits. There was never a time that you would go to her house and not have a hot meal, cookies in the cookie jar, candy in the cupboard, and chips in a bowl.
Her family was her prized possession, there was nothing that meant more to her than that. She left a great legacy here on earth. As we mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she is having a glorious reunion with her loved ones in heaven.
She is survived by her children; William Peirce Jr., Cathy Child, Cindy (Dave) Halverson, Bobby (Lisa) Peirce, Connie Julian, Carolyn (Frank) Sanderson, Cherie Peirce and stepchildren; Fritz (Connie) Beacco. She leaves behind 25 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sister, Norma (Morris) Rasmussen; brother, Max E. (Gayle) Wright; and sister, LaRue (Sheldon) Oliver; her son, Barry Peirce; stepdaughter, Kim Beacco Nelson Miller; and grandson, Chet Goodrich.
The family would like to sincerely thank Bill, Carolyn, and TJ for their devoted help, service, and care that allowed mother to remain in her home all of these years.
