Carol Dien Hansen Cook Martin Carol Dien Hansen Cook Martin, age 84, passed away on November 22, 2022, at Parkdale Care Center in Price. She was born February 10, 1938 in Salt Lake City to Malcolm Hansen and Clara Opal Seamons. Carol loved embroidery, traveling, and spending time with family. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She eloped to Elko, NV with Jay Cook on March 7, 1958; 38 years later they divorced. They had 7 children. Carol married James Martin August 12, 1995, he passed away May 1997. Carol is survived by daughters Vickie (Kelly) Koonce of Price, Debbie Cook of Payson, Lisa (Roy) Sager of Springville, Valerie Aldous of Ogden and son Dell Jay (Quana) Cook of Huntington, brother Leeland (Vickie) Hansen of Salt Lake City; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son Calvin Cook, daughter Louise Cook, and grandson Christopher Cook, a sister Fern Peterson and a brother-in-law Dee Peterson. Special thank you to Parkdale staff for their great care of Carol. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Fausett Mortuary Chapel (680 E 100 S, Price). A viewing will be held on Wednesday November 30, from 6-7 PM at Fausett Mortuary and from 9:30 - 10:15 AM prior to service. Interment will be in the Mona City Cemetery.
