Orangeville/Price: Carol Nelson Bell McArthur, our sweet, loving mother, grandmother and friend, age 84, passed away peacefully May 30, 2015 at her daughter's home with her family by her side. She was born November 4, 1930 in Ferron, UT to Guy and Eunice Madsen Nelson. She was the baby of 10 siblings. She married Kenneth Harold Bell on August 18, 1950 in Ferron, UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on June 25, 1966. After Kenneth passed, she later married Hampton Perry McArthur. She was lucky enough to have two men that loved her.
Her greatest success in life was that of being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved each and every one of them. She made you feel like you were the favorite. Carol was an awesome babysitter for her grandchildren. Her magic potion was a cure all.
Carol had a deep love and a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and his Gospel. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings throughout her life. Kenneth and Carol served a mission at the Atlanta Georgia LDS Temple. She also served as a temple worker at the Manti LDS Temple.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Clyde) Sherman of Rock Springs, WY, Karen (Jay) Christensen of St. George, UT, son, Steven (Susan) Bell of Rock Springs, WY and son-in-law, Duke Johnson of Price, UT, step children, Diane, Teresa and Mark; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Bell and Hampton McArthur, parents, daughter, Connie Rae Johnson, brothers, Max, Kenneth, Evan and Phillip and sisters Cleo, Beverly, Thyra, Francis and Evelyn. She will be missed by all.
