Byron "BY" Edward Cook Price, Utah Byron E. Cook, 89, left the arms of his loving wife and 5 children on 16, September 2009. Born August 3, 1920 in Castle Gate, Utah to Ed and Lucy Cook. Married Lucie Howard 27 August 1947 in Panguitch, Utah. Together they raised 3 girls and 2 boys. "BY" joined the US Army in 1943 during WWII honorably serving 3 years in the Pacific Theater. Upon discharge he gained employment at the Hiawatha U.S. Fuel Coal Mine local 6363 where he retired after 38 years. "BY" was a avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and a good game of "Blitz" with his family. Survived by his wife Lucie, children; Connie (Leonard) Harding of Price, Robert (Sandy) Cook of Price, Bradley (Janice) Cook of Price, Kandi (Mike) Uffer of California, Debbie (Walter) Vickers of Illinois, sister Dora Norton of Provo, 13 grandchildren. And many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. In appreciation we would like to thank Castle Country Care Center, Dialysis Center, Castleview nursing crew on duty 16 September. CNS nurse "Angie" and Dr. Etzel for everything they did during "BYS" illnesses. "BY" will be missed by all who knew him. Enjoyed his great humor, friendly smile and gentle ways. God Bless
