Brenda Tucker

Brenda Jean Tucker ORANGEVILLE - Brenda Jean Tucker, age 53, returned to her Heavenly Father April 5, 2011 at her home in Orangeville. She was born July 6, 1957 in Price to Anthony Tony and Deloris Mills Marvidikis. She married Scott Tucker in the Manti LDS Temple on March 25, 1978. Brenda grew up in Midvale, Utah, and her family later moved to Cleveland, Utah. She graduated from Emery High school in 1975 and then went on to study Early Childhood Development. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served, along with her husband, in the Manti Temple for seven years as an ordinance worker. Brenda was a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed reading stories and singing songs with her grandchildren. Those who knew her will always remember her strength and sweet countenance. She is dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Scott Tucker; her two daughters, Mandi (Charles) Slack and Candace (Michael) Brereton; and three grandchildren, Austin, Jaden, and Dakota Slack, who she loved dearly; her mother Deloris Marvidikis; and three siblings, Bernetta (Dell) Grange, Tony Marvidikis, and Todd Marvidikis. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Tony Marvidikis. Funeral services will be held Friday April 8, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Castle Dale LDS 8th North Chapel (165 West 800 North). There will be a viewing from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Cleveland City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
