Biography
Bradley John Lemon, age 34, passed away peacefully at St. Marks Hospital on May 26, 2014.
Brad was born July 28, 1979, in Price, Utah, to John Ralph Lemon and Loretta Anderson Lemon. He was raised in Ferron, graduated from Emery High School, attended Sevier Valley Technical College, and worked at Bryce Canyon and Circle Four Farms.
Brad was proud of his strong family heritage. He liked farming and gardening with his great grandfather, Arthur Lemon; farming, riding, and ranching with his dad, John, and his grandfather Ralph Lemon and all of
the other family members. He strongly identified with the western cowboy life that he shared with his dad. He was a "trucking" buddy for his Grandpa Ralph and Grandma Arlene as they hauled cattle and did other ranch
chores. He liked riding on the desert and the mountain, gathering and herding cows, and listening to and telling stories with his friends and family. Brad had a close relationship with his mom, Loretta , and together
they enjoyed parades, fairs, and other community activities.
Brad enjoyed family gatherings with all of his cousins, building huts and playing in the creek bottom, floating chickens down the canal, taking care of the littler cousins, and telling jokes and visiting with everyone. Brad
had a ready smile and laugh, and found joy and excitement in almost anything he did.
After Loretta's passing when Brad was 14, Sheila came into Brad's life and took over the role of mother when his own couldn't. She has been an important, loving influence for him.
This valiant and courageous young man has returned home after ten years of living with the aftermath of a brain tumor.
The family extends gratitude to those who have cared for him and helped him through these difficult years. Thanks to those who took him bowling (one of his passions), took him to rodeos and horse events, and helped him to make beaded necklaces.
Brad was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Brad is survived by his dad, John Lemon and John's loving wife, Sheila; his step brothers Shawn and Devan Bjarnson and their families; grandmother, Arlene Lemon; and numerous loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta; a younger sister, JoAnn; his grandparents Smokey and Marjorie Anderson; and his grandfather Ralph Lemon.
Although we know Brad is having a joyous reunion, we love and will miss him.
