Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Betty Wilcox Frandsen passed way January 4th, 2022.
She was born November 21, 1934 to Fern and Delbert Wilcox in Spring Canyon, Utah. She was the fourth of four children. She spent her childhood in Spring Canyon, Martin, Kenilworth and Orangeville.
In October of 1950 she married "The most handsome man" Von J. Frandsen. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple. They had three children, Jay, Dale and Lori.
Betty was a homemaker, farmer's wife, primary teacher, mutual leader, 4-H leader (to some rowdy little boys). She could take the tractor and bailer and make the nicest, biggest, heaviest, wet bales of hay you would ever see, not a shining moment in Von's eyes, but that did not stop her.
She loved to read and to get her hands dirty working in her beautiful yard.
She cherished her husband, parents, family and her friends that she had for a life time. She was very adventurous, never missing a chance to go on a trip to anywhere. She loved hosting family reunions, riding horses, farming, waterskiing, tubing, or just sitting out in the dirt, to be with the ones she loved.
Her grandchildren will remember her as the best grandma ever. She never missed a chance to go to a program or event to cheer them on, regardless of where or what it was.
Holidays will not be the same without her divinity, pickled eggs, honey butter and scones.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Lori (Tom) Hardee; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Frandsen; grandchildren Melissa Gordon, Jenna (Daniel) Madsen, Jeff (Cassie) Gordon, Deborah (Jason Worley), Rebekah (Todd) Cook, Patricia (James) Byars, Jake (Amanda) Frandsen, and Felicia (Myron) Jeffs; brother-in-law, Steven (Rhonda) Cox, many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and lifelong friend, Elda Hinkins.
Betty is preceded in death by spouse, Von J. Frandsen, sons Jay and Dale(infant) Frandsen; parents Fern and Delbert Wilcox; in-laws Jenny(Donald) Cox; sisters, Barbara (Bill) Graff and Carma Wilcox; brother Jerry (ReNee) Wilcox and great-granddaughter Kathryn Jeffs.
