Betty Cooper

Betty Jane Cooper, age 77, passed away at Castleview Hospital on February 28, 2023. She was born October 26, 1945 in Price, Utah to Walter and Jane Heiniger. She married her sweetheart, Otis Gary Cooper on October 30, 1964 in Battle Mountain, Nevada. They shared lots of memories of 58 years together. They had one son, Walter Robert Cooper (deceased) with two grandchildren, Josh and Ashley Cooper and five great grandchildren. They all live in Washington. Betty loved spending time with her family camping, fishing, hunting, playing ball and hanging with lots of friends. Survived by her grandchildren Josh Cooper and Ashley Cooper; siblings Harvey Heiniger, American Fork, Grace Humphrey, Orangeville, Utah, Garth (Lydia) Heiniger, Castle Dale, Utah, Meline Heiniger, Texas, Brian Vinton, Cooperston, Ross (Vickie) Heiniger, Colorado, Pauline (Randall) Stilson, Orangeville, Hazel (Jerry) Moon, Oregon; brother-in-law Rick Taylor, Washington; uncle Mervin Miles. Preceded in death by her husband, Otis Gary Cooper; son, Walter Robert Cooper; parents Walter and Jane Heiniger, in-laws Otis and Myrtle Cooper; siblings George Heiniger, Edward Heiniger, Wanda Neese, and Joyce Vinton; brother-in-law Tom Humphrey and sister-in-law Mary Heiniger; aunt Gale Miles. A viewing will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12:00 - 12:45 pm at Orangeville 1st Ward with funeral service at 1:00 pm. Services will be live-streamed on Fausett Mortuary Facebook page.
