Bessie Coleman Palmer
Wellington-Bessie Coleman Palmer age 94, passed away September 1, 2009 in Price, Utah. She was born January 29, 1915 in Teasdale, Utah to Parley and Ester Peterson Coleman. She married Zenis T McInelly on January 25, 1932 later widowed, married Ralph Thatcher in January 1936, later widowed, married Cliff Palmer on October 9, 1978 later widowed.
Bessie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints; she enjoyed Relief Society, home making, and making quilts, and was a member of D.U.P.
She is survived by her daughter; Dortha (Delmar) Nielsen of Price, sons; Andy (Candance) Thatcher of Axtel, Utah, Scott (Paula) Thatcher of Wellsville, Utah, and Mark (Verna) Thatcher of Kemmer, Wyoming, 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Preceded in death by 4 sons; Creed McInelly, Ben McInelly, Clinton McInelly, Edwin Thatcher, 3 husbands, Parents , 1 brother, 2 sisters, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellington LDS Stake Center (95 East Main). There will be a viewing from 9:30 - 10:40 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Wellington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
