Biography Bert H. Frandsen PRICE - Bert Hyrum Frandsen, age 91, passed away March 18, 2013 in Price, Utah. Bert was born August 25, 1921 in Price, Utah to George Lavern and Nellie Andrene Tanner Frandsen. He married Ada Rae Craw on July 27, 1943 in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Bert grew up spending his summer's on the family homestead in Nine Mile Canyon and Minimaude. He developed a love for the mountains and had great stories to tell of his experiences taking care of the animals and working the homestead with his family. He passed that love to his children and they all enjoyed many camping and hunting trips together. Bert was a master gardener, that served his family and neighbors well. He loved his family and could not stand to hear a baby cry. He walked the floor day or night, with many a grandchild to soothe them, much to the delight of their parents! He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in the Bishopric and High Council. A highlight of his life was serving with his sweetheart Ada as ordinance worker's in the Manti Temple for two years. Bert was a veteran of World War II and had a great love for his country! Bert is survived by his children, Robert Douglas (Darlene) Frandsen of Price and Linda Rae (Brent) Duke of Hurricane; sister's, Leola (Don) Jensen, Helen Davis, Karen (Kent) Shepard; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ada Rae; two sons, Brent Lamond Frandsen, Garry Lee (Corazon) Frandsen; and seven siblings. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Price City Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South, Price, Utah.) Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
