Arlene Bradley Huff Evans
Wellington- Arlene Evans, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother and friend, returned to Heavenly Father on May 21, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family after a short struggle with cancer.
Arlene was born October 2, 1936, in Wellington, Utah, to Archie B. and Azella Thayn Bradley. She married Vernon Huff October 21, 1954; their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Arlene and her family lived in California nearly 20 years, then returned home to Wellington upon Vernon's retirement from the Navy. She will be remembered as an avid bowler, quilter, and cake decorator. She loved camping, riding four wheelers, and attending family and school reunions. Her greatest passions were her 30 year career as an Avon representative and square dancing. Some of her best times were spent on the dance floor! Arlene was an active member of the LDS church and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. After Vernon's passing, Arlene wed her childhood friend, Marvin Evans, on September 11, 2003. Together they fulfilled her lifelong dream of traveling the world. They were able to visit several places and continued to enjoy dancing and the outdoors. She was truly blessed to find not one, but two wonderful dance partners in this life.
Arlene is survived by her husband Marvin; children, Brad (Jessie) Huff, of Price, Verna (Mark) Thatcher, Kemmerer, WY; Doris (Gordon) Haws, Herington, KS, and Mike (Michele) Huff, of Price. Step-children, Robert (Carol) Evans, Wellington, Debbie Evans, Boise, ID, and Loretta VanWagnoner, Salt Lake City, her beloved mother Azella brothers, Dean (Bunnie) Bradley, Dale (Cindy) Bradley and Derk (Debbie) Bradley, all of Wellington. Arlene will be greatly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Archie, husband Vernon, and infant son, Steven.
