It is With Heavy Hearts that we announce Annie Beryl Lofley, more affectionately known as Beryl, passed away on June 21, 2023, just three months shy of her 90th birthday.She was Born on September 24, 1933, in Elmo, Utah, Beryl Lived a long beautiful life where she was a light to everyone who knew her. As a lifelong resident of Elmo, Beryl made the most of her time in the small town, filling her days with love, laughter, and creativity. Beryl was a spirited and resilient woman, Who found joy in her hobbies of quilting, sewing, and gardening. She Will always be remembered fondly for her "world Famous Scones and homemade Chili", and Her Beautiful Hand Made Quilts. Anyone that knew her could walk into her home to find her making a beautiful handmade quilt
Beryl married Charles Lofley on September 26, 1949, and together, they built a loving family that was at the core of Beryl's heart. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and instilled a strong sense of family history and tradition in her children and grandchildren. Beryl's creative spirit was evident in her beautiful quilts , which her family will forever cherish as tangible reminders of her love and dedication. Beryl's creative legacy will continue to live on through her family. We know she is at peace and With Dad/Grandpa now. We love you and miss you dearly.
Beryl is survived by her children and their spouses: Charla (Wayne) Every, Joleen Athos, Raymond (Debbie) Lofley, Cindy (Jimmie) Schwegerl, Robbie (Rene) Lofley, Clay (Dionne) Lofley, Casey (Doufil) Lofley, and Rusty (Andrea) Lofley, as well as 24 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hyram and Inez Tidwell, and her husband, Charles Lofley and 1 Great Grandson . A visitation will be held at Fausett Mortuary, 680 East 100 South, Price, Utah, 84501, on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 5:00pm MDT. A graveside service will take place at Elmo Cemetery, 180 500 East Street, Elmo, Utah, 84521, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00am MDT.
