Adolph Spadafora
Adolph Marian Spadafora passed away March 7, 2016. He was born in Green River, Utah, May 11, 1929 to Carmine and Theresa (Vetere) Spadafora.
Adolph was a Green River High School graduate where he played basketball and was Student Body President. He learned to play the trumpet and played for several military honors. He drove uranium truck for a while then worked for the railroad in Helper. He met his high school sweetheart Ina Hunt and they were married in Green River on December 10, 1949. They moved from Helper back to Green River where Adolph started the Arctic Circle and began delivering bread for Wonder Bread. He also drove school bus. He was a hard worker and was always busy. Adolph and Ina have enjoyed over 66 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Ina Claudine Spadafora, six children, Janiel Mayall, Randy (Kerry) Spadafora, Tracy (Jennifer) Spadafora, Russell (Julie) Spadafora, Marty Spadafora, Kelly (Jennifer) Spadafora, daughter-in-law, Debra Spadafora, 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Carmine and Theresa Spadafora, son Paul Charles Spadafora, brothers Frank and Tony Spadafora, sisters Rose Albo, Clara Crocco, Yolanda Bruno and Gilda Spadafora.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Green River LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing Friday, March 11, 2016 at Fausett Mortuary in Price from 5:30 - 7:30 pm with a vigil service at 5:00 pm. There will also be a viewing on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:45 am prior to the services in Green River. Interment will be in the Elgin Cemetery, Green River, Utah.
