August 14, 1979 — August 4, 2011

Aaron Robertson Simms PRICE - Aaron Robertson Simms, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away August 4, 2011, the result of an auto-pedestrian accident. He was born August 14, 1979, in Price, Utah, the son of Vincent J. and Jessie O'Donnell Simms. He married Layna Jeanette Miller on June 9, 2001, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She and their children were the joy of his life. Aaron grew up in Spring Glen, attended schools in Helper and graduated in 1998 from Carbon High School in Price, Utah where he excelled in Cross Country. He was an Eagle Scout and served an honorable LDS mission in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the sixth of seven brothers. At the time of his death he was a member of the Gordon Creek LDS Ward. Aaron had a good and kind nature, was a peacemaker, and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers repelling, and most outdoor sports. He faced numerous trials and tribulations in his short life, but never gave up and worked through it as best he could. He worked so hard, but when the workday was over, he devoted all his time and energy to his wife and children. When the adults were gathered in the house, Aaron was outside playing games with the children or shooting baskets with his nieces and nephews. Everyday he found a way to have fun with his children. He was totally devoted to them. He was a good man in every sense of the word. We will miss him desperately.
